Great to meet you!

My name is Lisa and I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in North Carolina. I received my Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2021 at Fort Hays State University. I am passionate about providing clients with the tools that they need so they can feel independent and empowered. I assist clients with navigating challenges that are difficult due to overwhelming worry, fear, and trauma. I use integrated cognitive behavioral techniques, mindfulness practices, and personalized coping strategies to manage their struggles effectively so that they can live a fulfilling life.

My approach to therapy

I choose to use a range of modalities to provide a client-centered approach to help individuals recognize how traumatic experiences can shape their lives. I prioritize building trust and providing clients with a safe space to explore past experiences, working collaboratively with clients to develop coping mechanisms to function on a day to day basis in order to promote healing and autonomy.

What you can expect from me

It is important to meet with clients where they are in their struggles and our first session would consist of getting background information, current struggles, supportive social connections, and answering any questions that you may have about the therapeutic process! I believe in the ability of empowering you to make some goals that allow you to achieve!
