Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Lisa, and I am a board‐certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. My goal is to meet you exactly where you are and offer a space that feels safe, supportive, and genuinely human. Life can get complicated, and when stress, mood changes, anxiety, or emotional overwhelm pile up, it’s easy to feel alone in it all.

With 23 years of nursing experience — including many years in critical care at Johns Hopkins — I’ve learned how deeply intertwined our medical and emotional experiences can be. That background shapes the way I approach mental health today: with a strong clinical foundation, a whole‐person perspective, and a lot of compassion.

In my practice, I support individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, mood disorders, stress, concentration challenges, and those moments when everything just feels like too much. My focus is on helping you feel heard, understood, and supported as you navigate whatever comes next.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, compassionate, and centered around you. When we meet, my first priority is to truly listen — to understand what life feels like for you right now and what kind of support would actually make a difference. Together, we’ll create a plan that fits your life and your needs, not a one‐size‐fits‐all model.

Even though we’re connecting virtually, I want every session to feel grounding and genuinely caring. My hope is that each time you log in, you feel supported, seen, and never alone in what you’re navigating.

What you can expect from me

At my core, I’m a people person who genuinely believes everyone deserves to feel better and enjoy their life. When I’m not working, you’ll probably find me cheering at a football game, exploring somewhere new, or spending time with my family. Those moments of connection remind me every day why mental wellness matters so much.

If you’re ready to move beyond just “getting by” and start feeling like yourself again, I’d be honored to support you on that journey.
