Great to meet you!

Hello! I'm Lisa Morales, a Licensed Professional Counselor and Registered Play Therapist dedicated to fostering healing through genuine connection. At the heart of my practice is the belief that authenticity and acceptance are powerful catalysts for growth and transformation. My therapeutic expertise spans a variety of areas, including anxiety, depression, family dynamics, ADHD, recovery from trauma, and adjustment-related issues throughout the lifespan. I have specialized clinical training and experience working with children, parents and caregivers, veterans, and LGBTQ+ individuals. I am most passionate about helping parents and caregivers learn to securely grow with their children. Whether you're seeking support for personal growth, navigating identity, or working through family dynamics, my goal is to create an inclusive and affirming space where you can explore, heal, and grow. Embarking on a journey towards personal growth and well-being is a courageous step, and I'm honored to be your guide on this path. In our sessions, you can expect a compassionate and non-judgmental environment where your unique experiences and perspectives are valued. Together, we will work collaboratively to identify your strengths, address your challenges, and develop strategies to achieve your goals. Outside of my professional life, I enjoy painting, laughing with my loved ones, long road trips and playing chess.

My approach to therapy

My commitment to being authentic and compassionate has only grown in my over 15 years of experience as a therapist. I know that no matter what, we all deserve - and need- acts of respect, kindness and security in our relationships and I approach the therapeutic relationship with these attributes in mind as I seek to build a safe, seen space for clients' healing.

What you can expect from me

It is my hope for clients to experience a greater awareness and acceptance of themselves, their feelings, strengths, imperfections as they move through the therapeutic process.
