Great to meet you!

Born and raised in Minnesota, I am a parent, animal lover, and admirer of nature and history. I’m a licensed therapist with experience supporting people navigating relationships and healing from trauma, offering a thoughtful, grounded space for growth and connection.

After 15 years of working with clients of all ages and from all walks of life, I’ve learned that healing rarely looks the same twice. I offer a warm, grounded approach that adapts to your pace, your story, and your needs. I have provided therapy in a variety of settings including homes, hospitals, clinics, and partial hospital programming. This breadth of experience allows me to tailor therapy to the unique needs of each individual or family.

I’m trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy and Cognitive Processing Therapy, two evidence-based approaches for healing trauma. As a relational therapist, I integrate these tools with a warmth so clients can heal safely and feel supported. I’m committed to helping clients feel understood, grounded, and empowered as they move toward lasting change.

My approach to therapy

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) providing trauma-informed therapy for individuals ages 8 and up, as well as families and adults healing from relationship trauma, emotional wounds, and attachment-related concerns. Many of the clients I work with have experienced confusing, painful, or destabilizing relationships and are seeking a deeper understanding of how those experiences continue to impact their emotions, behaviors, and sense of self.

I work with neurodivergent individuals, including people with ADHD and autism, and approach therapy with flexibility and respect for different ways of thinking, processing, and relating. I also offer LGBTQ+ affirming therapy, providing an inclusive space where all identities, orientations, and family structures are welcomed and respected.

My approach to therapy is depth-oriented, collaborative, and trauma-informed. Rather than focusing on quick fixes or surface-level coping strategies, we work to understand the patterns shaped by past relationships, family dynamics, and lived experiences. Together, we focus on rebuilding trust in yourself, strengthening emotional safety, and creating changes that feel authentic and sustainable.

Therapy with me is paced, relational, and grounded in compassion. My goal is to help you develop insight, resilience, and a stronger connection to yourself so that healing continues beyond the therapy room.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, I’ll take time to understand your history, current concerns, relationships, and what matters most to you. We’ll create an initial outline together and continue building on it at your pace. I approach each question with care and warmth, always mindful of minimizing stress and creating a sense of safety.
