Great to meet you!

I am a licensed psychologist. I earned my Psy.D. (Doctor of Psychology) degree at George Washington University. I was a staff psychologist at Howard University from 2022 to 2025 and enjoy working with Black clients in my private practice. Before becoming a therapist, I was a professional singer and a federal employee, and the needs and concerns of our federal workforce are very important to me. I have been an out and proud lesbian for many years!

My approach to therapy

Psychotherapist Frieda Fromm-Reichmann wrote that "the patient needs an experience, not an explanation." The experience psychotherapy offers is a relationship with someone who is willing to listen, challenge, and make space for you to be you!

What you can expect from me

I am passionate about working with people who may have an intellectual understanding of "why" they feel unhappy, inauthentic, or alienated but have not been able to tap into the aliveness they sense lies within them. I can provide skills for working with stress, anxiety, depression, and more severe symptoms, but ultimately what heals is an experience of deep connection in therapy.
