Great to meet you!

With more than 20 years of experience, I've had the privilege of helping people through some of life's most difficult and overwhelming seasons. I work with adolescents and adults navigating depression, anxiety, grief and loss, trauma, PTSD, relationship challenges, women's issues, and major life changes. My goal is to provide a space where you can feel understood as a whole person, not defined by a diagnosis or the challenges you're facing.

I have extensive training in trauma and PTSD and have worked closely with veterans, survivors of sexual assault, and others who have experienced difficult or traumatic events. I also have a deep passion for grief work and supporting people through profound loss. Whether you're processing something from your past or struggling with what life is asking of you right now, I'll meet you with compassion, respect, and practical support as we work toward healing and meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

I take an integrated, holistic approach to therapy because I don't believe one method works for everyone. We'll look beyond labels to understand what's contributing to the way you're feeling, recognize your strengths, and identify practical ways to help you move forward.

I draw from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), trauma-focused therapy, mindfulness-based approaches, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy. Our work will be collaborative and tailored to your needs, with a focus on helping you better understand yourself, strengthen coping skills, and create changes that feel meaningful in your everyday life.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and understand what brought you to therapy, what you've been experiencing, and what you'd like to be different. You don't need to have everything figured out before you begin. We'll start where you are and determine together what would be most helpful.

You can expect a warm, nonjudgmental space where you can speak openly and feel respected. I'll listen, ask thoughtful questions, and help you identify both the strengths you already have and new ways of coping with what's difficult. My goal is for therapy to help you feel more supported, capable, and confident navigating life beyond our sessions.
