Great to meet you!

My name is Lisa Rorvig, and I am a licensed independent clinical social worker, licensed in both Minnesota and North Dakota. I received my Master of Social Work degree from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, and I have 17 years of experience working with children, couples, and families dealing with various mental health issues.

My approach to therapy

My approach is grounded in warmth, authenticity, and a deep commitment to meaningful change. I create a supportive and compassionate environment where clients feel safe to be honest and vulnerable. At the same time, I’m direct and appropriately challenging. This balance of empathy and accountability helps foster growth, self-awareness, and lasting transformation.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to leave sessions feeling seen, supported, and challenged. Together, we’ll get to the heart of what’s going on — not just managing symptoms, but uncovering the deeper patterns that drive thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. My goal is to help you build insight, take meaningful action, and create a life that feels more aligned, grounded, and intentional.
