Great to meet you!

I am a Registered Provisional Art Therapist (ATR-P with the Art Therapy Credentials Board), and licensed clinical professional counselor (LCPC in MD).

I am an artist and creative spirit, neurodivergent, and have been in recovery for eight years.

I have experience supporting individuals across all gender and sexuality spectrums, including members of LGBTQIA+ communities and their allied loved ones. I have worked in treatment centers with individuals struggling with addiction and alcoholism, adolescents and adults in private practice settings, and facilitated groups in community spaces.

I offer art therapy and traditional talk therapy. I am available for sessions in-person at the office, virtually, and outside for outdoor art therapy or walk-and-talk sessions in nature.

My approach to therapy

Do you want to feel inspired, empowered, and fulfilled?

Are you seeking to understand who you are, where you want to go, or how to get there? I support clients navigating overwhelming life circumstances, struggling with (or recovering from) addiction/alcoholism, and seeking to heal their soul.

I use creative expression, nature-based healing, and humanistic, person-centered approaches with clients seeking relief from oppressive narratives, battling anxiety, and feeling motivated to reclaim their lives. I help clients understand their needs, recognize their strengths, learn coping skills for emotional regulation, and embrace self-acceptance.

As an LGBTQ+ ally, I honor intersectional identities using gender affirming, decolonial, trauma-informed care to heal mind, body, and soul. I provide support rooted in contemplation, validation, and liberation. We will work together to understand and modify the thoughts and behaviors that keep you stuck, so you can live a life you love.

What you can expect from me

In my first session with a new client, I will gently gather background information to learn more about who they are as a person. This includes exploring strengths, learning about sources of comfort or inspiration, and understanding current therapeutic needs. I always have art supplies and fidgets available, and support clients through grounding techniques and mindfulness exercises.
