Great to meet you!

Life can become overwhelming when stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, or major life transitions begin affecting your daily functioning. You may find yourself feeling stuck, emotionally exhausted, disconnected from others, or uncertain about the next step forward.

I specialize in working with adults who are seeking meaningful change and practical strategies to improve their emotional well-being. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use concerns, grief, work-related stress, or challenges in relationships, I provide a supportive and nonjudgmental space where healing and growth can occur.

As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with extensive experience in mental health and substance use treatment, I take a holistic approach that recognizes the connection between thoughts, emotions, behaviors, physical wellness, and life experiences. Together, we will identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, build on your strengths, and develop realistic solutions that align with your personal goals and values.

I believe therapy should be collaborative, practical, and empowering. My goal is to help you gain insight, develop effective coping skills, increase resilience, and create lasting positive change so you can move forward with greater confidence and purpose.

My approach to therapy

My approach combines evidence-based therapeutic techniques with genuine compassion and respect for each person's unique story. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Trauma-Informed Care, and mindfulness-based interventions to create a treatment plan tailored to your specific needs.

I believe that healing happens when people feel heard, understood, and supported. Therapy is not about fixing what is wrong with you—it's about helping you uncover your strengths, overcome obstacles, and build the life you want.

For individuals who want Christian counseling, I can also incorporate faith-based perspectives into therapy.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we'll discuss what brings you to therapy, explore your goals, and begin developing a clear plan for moving forward. My clients often appreciate my warm, direct, and solution-focused style. You can expect a safe space where you are treated with respect, challenged when appropriate, and supported throughout the process.

Together, we'll focus on helping you:

  • Reduce anxiety, stress, and overwhelm
  • Improve mood and emotional well-being
  • Heal from past trauma and difficult experiences
  • Strengthen relationships and communication
  • Build confidence and healthy coping skills
  • Create balance and purpose in your life

You don't have to navigate life's challenges alone. Therapy can provide the support, clarity, and tools you need to thrive.
