Great to meet you!

My name is Liza, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I received my undergraduate and graduate degrees in Connecticut, from UCONN and CCSU, and I have been practicing as an LMFT for over 20 years. I am currently seeing individual clients in several states, virtually.

My approach to therapy

I provide a comfortable, judgment free environment. I engage my clients in the process of goal setting, while empowering them to develop the skills needed to manage the challenges they are experiencing. I have significant experience working with clients who have been impacted by divorce. I aim to help my clients to become the best parents/co-parents they can be. I am a trained Doula and I enjoy providing post-partum support and guidance to new parents. I hold a Post-Master's Certification in clinical issues in adoption. I have worked extensively with adoptive parents, children who have been adopted and adults who were adopted as children.

What you can expect from me

I strive to assist my clients in reaching their full potential by helping them to develop positive self esteem and strong coping skills, and to have healthy relationships, personally and professionally. Whether you are struggling with life's everyday challenges, or more serious trauma, we can work together to provide you with the tools you need to be happy and healthy.
