Great to meet you!

Asking for help is often the hardest step...I am proud of you for taking that first step! Finding the right counselor is an important part of the change process that is ahead of you, and I hope this description will help you determine if I fit into what you are looking for. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker that took the long way around to get to where I am. That means, not only do I bring to the table lots of education and training to work with you, but also lots of life experience too.

My approach to therapy

I have been a social worker for 18 years, and have worked in a variety of settings. I can work with a wide variety of areas, but some of my favorite are depression, anxiety, trauma and parenting. I believe that you have the capacity within you to become the best version of yourself, and would love to be part of your journey in getting there. I look forward to meeting you and supporting you as you identify goals and work towards the change you desire.

What you can expect from me

Clients have reported feeling understood, important and loved after working with me. It is my goal that you will feel supported and leave sessions with tools to be able to help you relieve the impact symptoms are having in your world.
