Great to meet you!

Hi! I am Loren Goldstein, LCMHC, and I have over 15 years of experience in treating trauma, depression, anxiety, self-esteems issues and substance use. I provide therapy to adults, guiding them towards lasting recovery using, primarily, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART). My strengths are being empathetic, kind, compassionate, and curious, along with having extensive experience in the field.

My approach to therapy

You will experience a safe and supportive space where you will feel 100% respected. I provide a nonjudgmental environment where you can explore your feelings and experiences at your own pace. I primarily use the EMDR protocol. During sessions, clients focus on distressing memories while engaging in guided eye movements or other forms of bilateral stimulation. This process helps reframe and reduce the emotional charge of those memories, leading to lasting relief and improved well-being.

What you can expect from me

You can expect to feel heard, understood, and as if you are talking to someone who really cares. I will also give you real-life tools to incorporate into your daily life to make the changes that you've been wanting to make. Studies have also found that approximately 60-90% of individuals with trauma experience significant symptom reduction after EMDR treatment.
