Great to meet you!

Therapy is genuinely a love of mine! I am a compassionate and supportive bilingual mental health and addictions therapist with 23 years of experience in mental healthcare (licensed 11+ years). My Master of Science from Walden University is in clinical counseling, and I specialize in trauma, mood disorders (anxiety, depression, anger), transitions, grief and loss, and addictions. I am certified in meditation, mindfulness, and yoga, and have numerous fitness certifications as well.

My approach to therapy

As a holistic therapist, my approach is client-centered and empathically driven, with an emphasis on change and growth through a mind-body-spirit approach. I use evidence-based modalities (cognitive behavioral therapy, existential therapy, mindfulness-based therapy, trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy) along with my meditation, yoga, and fitness training to provide clients with a balanced, integrative healing experience.

What you can expect from me

Holding space in the darkness is a privilege. I truly believe that people can change and grow to their fullest potential when given a warm, non-judgmental, and safe space to explore what is creating limiting beliefs in their lives. Clients will learn about the thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that shape their experiences, and gain invaluable insight about ways to improve the overall quality of their lives.
