Great to meet you!

Hi! I’m so glad you are here! For those who appear strong on the outside but feel overwhelmed, stuck, or quietly struggling within—this is a space for meaningful, lasting change. If you are feeling anxious, stuck, or facing the challenges of a life transition, you don't have to navigate it alone. I help find clarity, healing, and renewed hope through a compassionate, faith-sensitive approach to therapy that helps you move forward with vision, practical tools, and a renewed hope–all from the comfort of your own home.

I would describe my approach as warm, relational, and deeply engaging. I believe therapy works best when you feel genuinely seen, understood, and comfortable, so I prioritize building a strong, authentic connection with each client. I naturally incorporate humor and storytelling into our work together, helping to make difficult topics feel more approachable and relatable. I bring both clinical insight and real-life perspective, allowing me to meet you exactly where you are—without judgment. My goal is not just to listen, but to offer practical, meaningful tools you can actually use in your everyday life, so you leave sessions feeling supported, understood, and equipped to move forward.

My approach to therapy

With over three decades of experience in the mental health field (since 1989) and licensure since 2000, I bring both clinical depth and real-life understanding to the therapeutic process. My background includes work in clinical settings, hospitals, and private practice, allowing me to approach each client with insight, discernment, and care.

I integrate evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), along with a thoughtfully applied Christian worldview for clients who desire it. I am certified in REBT through the Albert Ellis Institute and trained in EMDR through EMDR Consulting.

I have extensive experience supporting women through:

  • Singleness and dating
  • Motherhood and postpartum challenges
  • Hormonal changes impacting mood and emotional health
  • Divorce, widowhood, and remarriage
  • Stepparenting and blended family dynamics
  • Betrayal trauma and spiritual struggles

I also work with individuals navigating:

  • Anxiety and chronic worry
  • Depression and emotional burnout
  • OCD and intrusive thoughts
  • Self-worth and identity concerns
  • Major life transitions

I look forward to supporting you as you develop the tools to navigate this season of life with clarity and confidence.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, my primary goal is to help you feel comfortable, heard, and confident that you’re in the right place. We’ll start by getting to know each other and building a sense of connection, so you can feel at ease sharing your story. From there, I’ll gently gather relevant background and clinical information to better understand your concerns and begin shaping an accurate diagnosis and personalized treatment approach. Throughout the process, I’ll explain what we’re doing and why, so you feel informed and supported every step of the way. Most importantly, I want you to know that you are in charge of your therapy—I’m here as a collaborative partner to guide, support, and empower you as we move forward together.
