Great to meet you!

I'm so glad you're here! I love working with new moms, helping them navigate the transition into their new role, and high achieving women who have learned to self silence and/or suppress their needs. Helping women navigate any of the challenging transitions of life (newly separated/divorced, new jobs, new relationship, college admission/graduation) is a real passion of mine!

If you have been feeling stuck and having difficulty with motivation or decision paralysis, I can help with that! If you have been struggling to experience joy, let's talk!

.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, yet direct. I'm not a therapist who simply sits back and nods. I will engage fully in your process, providing feedback and encouragement to make the changes that may be necessary to accomplish your goals. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness, parts theory and strengths based interventions.

What you can expect from me

Most importantly, this will be a judgment free space! The work we do may be challenging at times and requires safety in order to be vulnerable enough to elicit growth.

During our first session we will talk about what prompted therapy at this time. We will talk about your family of origin, relationship history, social outlets, feelings and stressors. We will set 2 or 3 goals that you would like for us to work towards. Since change doesn't happen in a vacuum we will decide on an tangible action step or tool you can practice in between sessions!
