Great to meet you!

I am a dedicated behavioral health professional with approximately 20 years of experience supporting individuals facing mental health challenges, substance use disorders, emotional difficulties, and life transitions.

My approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and strengths-based. I believe every individual deserves to feel heard, respected, and supported in a safe, nonjudgmental environment.

Throughout my career, I have worked with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma-related concerns, substance use challenges, relationship difficulties, and significant life stressors. My experience in clinical care and behavioral health leadership has strengthened my commitment to providing individualized, person-centered support.

I strive to help clients recognize their strengths, develop healthier coping strategies, improve self-esteem, and work toward meaningful, lasting change. Whether you are feeling overwhelmed, navigating a difficult transition, or seeking personal growth, my goal is to meet you where you are and support you throughout your journey.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is compassionate, person-centered, strengths-based, and collaborative. I believe that every individual has the ability to grow, heal, and make meaningful changes when provided with the right support, guidance, and tools.

I meet clients where they are, creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where they feel comfortable expressing themselves. I incorporate motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT)-informed strategies, solution-focused techniques, and supportive counseling to help clients identify challenges, recognize their strengths, develop healthy coping skills, and achieve their personal goals.

I understand that everyone's journey is different, and I tailor my approach to each client's unique needs, experiences, and circumstances. My goal is to empower clients to build confidence, improve emotional well-being, strengthen relationships, and develop practical strategies for navigating life's challenges.

I believe therapy is a partnership, and I work alongside my clients to promote self-awareness, resilience, and lasting positive change.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, my priority is to create a warm, welcoming, and nonjudgmental environment where you feel safe, comfortable, and heard. I understand that starting therapy can feel overwhelming, and I want you to know that you don't have to have everything figured out before we begin.

We will take time to get to know one another, discuss what brought you to therapy, explore any challenges you may be experiencing, and identify what you hope to accomplish. I will ask questions to better understand your background, experiences, strengths, and current needs, while allowing you to share at your own pace.

My approach is collaborative and supportive. Together, we will begin identifying goals and developing a plan that works for you. There is no judgment, no pressure, and no expectation to share more than you are comfortable with.

My goal is for you to leave our first session feeling heard, respected, supported, and hopeful about the journey ahead. Therapy is your journey, and I am here to walk alongside you.
