Great to meet you!

I hold two clinical credentials: an LPC and a QIDP — a Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional — which means my clinical training extends across a wide range of presentations, and I bring that breadth to every client I see.

I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, ADHD, maternal mental health, infertility, grief, relationship stress, and the complicated emotions that come with life transitions like divorce and parenthood. I believe you already have the strengths to get through this — my job is to help you find and build on them.

My style is laid back and warm, with a sense of humor that tends to take the edge off. You deserve a therapist you can actually talk to, and I take that seriously.

My approach to therapy

My counseling style has been described as supportive, caring, and compassionate — with a pretty good sense of humor when it fits. I'm not here to be clinical and distant. I'm here to help you actually move through what's hard.

I draw on CBT to address the thought patterns driving anxiety and depression, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy to keep us oriented toward where you want to go, and Gestalt to stay present-focused and grounded in what's actually happening right now. A Strength-Based lens runs through everything — we identify what you're already doing well and build from there, rather than starting from deficits.

I offer a safe place to be honest, without fear of judgment. That's not a guarantee I make lightly.

What you can expect from me

In your first session, you can expect a warm, comfortable environment where we start at whatever pace feels right for you. We'll talk about what brought you to therapy, what's felt most difficult, and what you're hoping changes.

We'll begin identifying your goals and what success actually looks like — and we may explore a few initial strategies to help you feel more supported before our next session.

Taking that first step takes real courage. I'm proud of you for being here.
