Hi! I’m Lori! Looking forward to connecting with you! I have worked in many areas of psychiatry and behavioral health for over 30 years: inpatient, partial, crisis, outpatient, and Emergency Room. I’ve dealt with clients on the Worst and the Best day of their lives! I Started as a nursing attendant in HS in MO. Came to Los Angeles got certified and worked as a CNA while going through nursing school. Maneuvering American healthcare can be difficult. Many people have trouble advocating for themselves when they don’t feel well. It is always helpful to have someone that knows the system that can provide education and offer guidance. It is important to continue having regular open conversations about mental health to continue de stigmatizing it.

My care approach is to be honest and direct but I try to do so with humor and positivity. My goal is to motivate and educate a client to be at the best level that they can be at any given time.

Clients can always expect honesty from me. It may not always be what one wants to hear and the work can be tough!! But the issues will always be explored in the most loving, caring, therapeutic way possible. The goal is to do no harm. There is no judgment. Everyone is treated with dignity.
