Great to meet you!

I have experience working with individuals living with various mental health issues and I have experience assisting individuals with intellectual disabilities with emotional and mental health issues.

I completed my M.S. in Professional Counseling and Grand Canyon University in 2018. I worked as an intern from 2017 helping children, individuals, couples and families experiencing anxiety, stress and relational conflicts. I also have experience in helping individuals and families who are dealing with terminal illness, loss and trauma.

I live on the Oregon coast, just outside of Lincoln City, OR. I enjoy reading, camping, hiking and bike riding. I also love listening to live music.

My approach to therapy

I enjoy working collaboratively with my clients and/or family to help them make positive change happen. You, the client, are in charge of your personal growth and change, I am simply a guide to help you navigate through what can be difficult terrain on your journey to meet your goals.

I utilize a person-centered approach. Some of the approaches I use are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), and Mindfulness therapy, which centers on learning and utilizing calming tools.

What you can expect from me

I like to think I am approachable, friendly and compassionate. The environment I strive to create is one of non-judgment. It is important to me that my clients feel comfortable and safe from our very first meeting.
