Great to meet you!

I believe therapy works best when you feel comfortable being your authentic self. My goal is to create a space where you feel seen, heard, and supported without judgment.

Clients often describe me as warm, down-to-earth, and easy to talk to. While therapy can involve exploring difficult emotions, I also believe in bringing compassion, curiosity, and sometimes even humor into the process when it feels right.

As a therapist, I value cultural awareness, emotional safety, and genuine connection. I understand that many people come to therapy carrying invisible responsibilities and pressures, especially mothers and caregivers who are often expected to be everything for everyone.

I see therapy as a partnership. My role is to guide, support, and provide tools that help you better understand yourself, manage stress, and navigate life’s challenges in a healthier way.

You don’t have to have everything figured out to start therapy. Sometimes the most important step is simply having a space where you can slow down, reflect, and be supported.

I especially enjoy working with individuals who are used to being the strong one for others and are ready to finally invest in their own emotional well-being.

My approach to therapy

Many of the clients I work with are high-functioning individuals who appear to have everything together on the outside, but internally feel overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, or unsure how to carry everything they are responsible for.

My approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and practical. I create a space where clients feel safe to slow down, process what they’ve been holding, and reconnect with themselves without judgment.

In our work together, we explore the emotional patterns, stress responses, and life experiences that may be impacting your well-being. I help clients develop insight, emotional regulation skills, and healthier ways of responding to life’s challenges.

I often integrate evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, mindfulness, and relationship-focused work to support healing and growth.

Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, disconnected from themselves, or unsure how to move forward. Together we work to reduce emotional burnout, strengthen boundaries, process grief or trauma, and help you feel more grounded, confident, and aligned in your life.

Therapy with me is not about “fixing” you — it’s about helping you better understand yourself, develop tools for navigating life’s stressors, and create space for the life you want to live.

I have a special passion for supporting mothers and caregivers who often carry an invisible emotional load while caring for others.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and begin understanding what brings you to therapy. Many clients come in feeling nervous or unsure of where to start, and that’s completely normal. You don’t have to have everything figured out before we begin.

During our first session, I will ask questions to learn more about your current concerns, your personal history, and what you hope to gain from therapy. This helps me understand your experiences and begin identifying the areas where support may be most helpful.

My goal in the first session is to create a comfortable space where you feel heard and supported. We will move at a pace that feels right for you. Some clients want to share a lot right away, while others prefer to ease into the process.

We may also begin discussing initial goals for therapy and explore tools or strategies that could help with the challenges you're facing. I’ll also answer any questions you may have about the therapy process.

By the end of the session, you can expect to have a clearer understanding of how we can work together and whether the therapeutic relationship feels like a good fit for you.

Many of the individuals I work with are used to supporting everyone else, and therapy becomes a place where they finally have space to focus on themselves.
