Great to meet you!

With over 20 years of experience in mental health and social work, my passion is working with women who are recreating their identity after life transitions including grief, divorce, and loss. As a single mom, I understand life can be stressful trying to balance supporting your child and yourself with minimal support. Women who are starting over are my specialty and I've learned at some point, everyone has to pivot, shift, and create their second act. It's a privilege to walk with Black women through the process as they learn to decide it is worth it to do what's best for you.

My approach to therapy

I use 3 main tools in therapy-EMDR, Faith-based counseling, and strength based interventions. I also do walk and talk therapy for those want outside nature as part of therapy.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, you'll share a lot and set your main focus and goals to work on. Of course, it can be I want to address conflict better or I'd like to learn how to get into a healthy relationship. I prioritize safety and make space for honest and sometimes hard relationships.
