Great to meet you!

With over 25 years of experience providing mental health services across a variety of settings, I have dedicated my career to helping people uncover the root causes of their challenges so they can truly make lasting change, not just manage symptoms. I know firsthand that entering therapy and embracing change takes immense courage. My goal is to collaborate with you to create a completely judgment-free space where you feel safe, heard, and supported. Together, we will navigate your path forward, ensuring you feel genuinely empowered every single step of the way.

My approach to therapy

I practice an integrative approach to therapy, which means I combine different methods to fit your personal journey. Together, we will use tools from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy. To support your growth, I use thorough assessments, incorporate psychoeducation, and share helpful handouts during our sessions to gently guide you toward lasting change.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is all about your story, your pace, and ensuring you feel deeply heard. I am always genuinely excited to learn what is on your mind, and I consider it a true honor and a privilege that you have chosen to share your deepest thoughts with me. Because I hold that trust with the utmost respect, our initial meeting will never feel like a clinical interrogation or an overwhelming checklist. People often come to therapy already carrying a heavy mental load; my goal is to lighten that burden, not add to it.

We will spend our time building a comfortable connection and talking through whatever feels most pressing to you. I love to make therapy an engaging, collaborative learning experience, and I make sure you leave our very first session with a practical tool or insight you can actually use while navigating the week ahead. Before we wrap up, I will share the best ways to get in touch with me and help you set up a recurring schedule so you can lock in a consistent, dependable time for your ongoing growth.
