Great to meet you!

I provide therapy in English, Korean, and German, and I value creating a space where clients feel understood not only emotionally, but also culturally and personally. I work with clients navigating anxiety, relationship issues, somatic symptoms, eating disorders, stress, emotional overwhelm, life transitions, and the feeling of being disconnected from themselves or their bodies. Many of the people I support are trying to better understand their emotions, strengthen relationships, reduce anxiety, and build a healthier relationship with themselves. My goal is to provide a safe, collaborative, and supportive space where you can feel heard, gain insight, and begin creating meaningful change in a way that honors your story, values, and lived experience.

My approach to therapy

My approach is evidence-based, collaborative, and emotionally attuned. I draw from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based practices. In session, this may look like exploring emotional patterns in relationships, identifying thought patterns that fuel anxiety, building skills to respond differently to difficult emotions, practicing mindfulness to reconnect with the present moment, and developing healthier ways to relate to your body, needs, and values. I work with clients experiencing anxiety, relationship concerns, somatic disorders, eating disorders, stress, and emotional distress. My style is warm, thoughtful, practical, and culturally responsive, with a focus on helping you build insight, resilience, and lasting change.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we will focus on getting to know you, understanding what brings you to therapy, and beginning to identify what kind of support would feel most helpful. We may talk about your current concerns, relationships, emotional patterns, cultural background, body-based symptoms, eating concerns, anxiety, stress, and what you hope will feel different moving forward. My goal is to create a calm, respectful, and nonjudgmental environment where you can share at your own pace. Together, we will begin clarifying your goals and developing a direction for therapy that feels meaningful, realistic, and aligned with your needs.
