Great to meet you!

Hello, I'm Lyndsey and I am an LCMHC. After successfully completing my 2.5 year supervised residency, I have established my own counseling practice, Seed & Nourish, PLLC. My intention is to create a supportive environment for clients, where they feel comfortable integrating their faith with therapeutic support, without imposing any specific beliefs.

My approach to therapy

I primarily utilize a client-centered and solution-focused approach in my practice. I incorporate techniques from DBT, IFS and Motivational interviewing and I also integrate relevant biblical principles when appropriate to customize an effective plan that aligns with the client's objectives. When working with children and adolescents, I include elements of play therapy and sandtray therapy. My aim is to create a comfortable and welcoming environment, to ensure that clients feel at ease, valued, and listened to.

What you can expect from me

A competent therapist actively listens to their clients; however, an exceptional therapist not only listens but also encourages clients to pursue personal growth. A significant aspect of my role involves imparting essential skills that clients can practice and apply in their daily lives. My objective is for clients to leave each session feeling understood, validated, and equipped with actionable steps to continue their development.
