Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor with a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Wake Forest University and advanced training in EMDR. I’ve worked in both group practice and private practice settings, helping adults navigate anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, family conflict, and major life transitions. I’m especially passionate about working with high-functioning women who may appear to have it all together while privately feeling overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, stuck in painful patterns, or impacted by unresolved trauma. My approach is warm, thoughtful, and deeply personalized, blending evidence-based care with genuine human connection to create meaningful, lasting change.

My approach to therapy

I see therapy as a place for both honest reflection and real change. My style is engaged, compassionate, and insight-oriented, while also practical and goal-focused when helpful. I draw from trauma-informed approaches, EMDR, and evidence-based therapy to help clients better understand longstanding patterns, process difficult experiences, and create healthier ways of relating to themselves and others. I work best with women who are thoughtful, self-aware, and ready to move beyond survival mode into a more grounded, emotionally fulfilling life.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and begin understanding what brings you to therapy, what feels difficult right now, and what you hope will feel different over time. I ask thoughtful questions to get a sense of your history, relationships, patterns, and current stressors, while creating a space that feels comfortable, supportive, and free of judgment. My goal is for clients to leave feeling heard, understood, and hopeful—with a clearer sense of where we’re headed together.
