Great to meet you!

I have extensive experience supporting individuals across diverse clinical, educational, and community-based settings. Prior to entering the mental health field, I spent several years as an educator within a large public school system, later transitioning into the role of Professional School Counselor. My professional journey spans K–12 education, higher education, and the adult corrections system, allowing me to develop a comprehensive and trauma-informed approach to care.

I have served as an Outpatient Mental Health Therapist in community-based settings and as a Clinical Therapist on a Naval Base, where I provided culturally responsive, strengths-based services to individuals from diverse backgrounds and life experiences. I currently serve as the Clinical Director of a Behavioral Health Agency, where I provide clinical leadership, supervision, and direct therapeutic services to clients with complex mental health needs.

Grounded in compassion, advocacy, and equity, I am deeply committed to supporting individuals in achieving emotional stability, personal growth, and overall well-being. My work reflects a holistic perspective that honors lived experiences, resilience, and the importance of accessible, high-quality mental health care.

Outside of my professional role, I enjoy bike riding, reading, traveling, exercising, cooking, and attending comedy shows and live entertainment. I value meaningful relationships and intentionally cultivate peaceful environments that support balance, reflection, and personal wellness.

My approach to therapy

I provide therapeutic support to individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, grief, life transitions, and academic or career-related concerns. My goal is to help clients build resilience, gain clarity, and move toward meaningful personal growth.

I strive to create a warm, supportive environment where clients feel heard, understood, and safe to explore their thoughts and emotions. My therapeutic approach is eclectic, grounded in Narrative Therapy, which focuses on reshaping personal stories to promote empowerment, confidence, and emotional well-being.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a collaborative and encouraging therapeutic process—one that fosters healing, self-discovery, and a renewed sense of self-worth. Through partnership and mutual respect, therapy becomes a space where clients feel empowered to explore their strengths, develop insight, and move forward with greater confidence and clarity.
