Great to meet you!

Hi there, my name is Madi and I am an Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW). I'm a trained therapist who truly loves this work and feels honored to walk alongside people as they heal and grow.

In our sessions, you can expect a warm, empowering, and solution-oriented approach. I strive to create a safe, collaborative space where clients can explore their emotions, experiences, and goals moving forward.

I also have specialized training in trauma treatment and use EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) as one of my primary approaches to help clients process and heal from painful experiences. At the same time, I draw from a variety of evidence-based practices to meet clients where they are at and tailor therapy to their unique needs.

I work with adolescents and adults, supportive people through a wide range of challenges including trauma, life's stressors, depression, anxiety, mood disorders, relationship difficulties, and more. My goal is to help individuals heal, build resilience, discover new perspectives, and create lasting change in their lives.

My approach to therapy

I take a compassionate and collaborative approach to therapy, grounded in evidence-based practices. My work is solution-oriented and client-centered, with a focus on creative a supportive environment where individuals can process challenges, build resilience, and move toward lasting change. I have specialized training in EMDR for trauma treatment and also work with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, mood disorders, and relationship difficulties.

What you can expect from me

In your first session with me, I take the time to get to know you and understand your unique story. I'll complete a thorough diagnostic assessment, which means we'll talk about your current concerns, past experiences, and what you hope to gain from therapy. This session is also an opportunity for you to ask questions and get a sense of what it feels like to work together. My aim is to create a safe, supportive environment where you feel comfortable and heard, while also beginning to build a plan that reflects your needs and aspirations for the therapeutic process.
