Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Maggie! I'm a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor who is passionate about helping people navigate life's challenges while feeling supported, understood, and empowered along the way.

I know that reaching out for therapy can feel overwhelming, especially when you're already carrying a lot. My goal is to create a comfortable, nonjudgmental space where you can show up exactly as you are. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, relationship difficulties, self-esteem concerns, or major life transitions, we will work together to better understand what's going on and find practical ways to help you move forward.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and down-to-earth. I believe therapy isn't about "fixing" you—it's about helping you gain insight, build effective coping skills, and feel more confident in managing life's ups and downs. I draw from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), trauma-informed care, and DBT-informed skills, while tailoring treatment to each person's unique needs and goals.

I have extensive experience working with trauma, anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, and life stressors. I especially enjoy helping clients identify patterns that may be keeping them stuck, process difficult experiences, and build healthier ways of coping and connecting with themselves and others.

Taking the first step toward therapy takes courage, and I consider it a privilege to walk alongside my clients through that process. My hope is that our work together feels genuine, supportive, and focused on helping you create meaningful and lasting change.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, supportive, and tailored to each client's unique needs. I strive to create a comfortable space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to explore challenges openly.

I primarily use evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and DBT-informed interventions to help clients gain insight, develop effective coping skills, and create meaningful change. While I have specialized training in trauma and PTSD treatment, I also enjoy working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, self-esteem concerns, and relationship challenges.

I believe therapy should be both practical and meaningful, helping clients not only process their experiences but also build tools they can use in their everyday lives.

What you can expect from me

The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a strong therapeutic relationship. We'll discuss what brings you to therapy, any current challenges or concerns, and what you hope to gain from the counseling process. I'll also ask questions about your background, relationships, and overall well-being to better understand your experiences and needs.

My goal is to create a welcoming, comfortable, and nonjudgmental environment where you can share at your own pace. Together, we'll identify initial goals and begin developing a plan that feels realistic and meaningful for you. You don't need to have everything figured out before coming to therapy—my role is to help guide and support you wherever you are in your journey.
