Great to meet you!

Hey! I am glad you're here! It's a privilege to be in the position I am in, walking along side of clients, listening to their struggles, and exploring ways to navigate the challenges we all face during this lifetime. I have been working in the clinical/therapeutic setting since 2020. I have a master's degree in social work and received my clinical license in 2023. I am also a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist. As we know, addictive tendencies stem from other places, such as trauma, depression, anxiety, the list goes on. I enjoy working with folks who struggle with addiction or dependence in all forms, not just substances. I primarily work with adults. I also enjoy working with clients that are just experiencing the challenges life presents. If you are curious to learn more about me and my style, feel free to reach out! I am happy to have a consultation call to see if I'd be a good fit for you.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic style is warm and eclectic. I enjoy pulling from CBT, ACT, motivational interviewing, the Gottman Approach, reality therapy, solution focused therapy, and psychodynamic therapy. I like using the term "eclectic" when describing my style as we all have unique needs, even from day to day, so I tailor my approach to meet you where you are at in the moment.

What you can expect from me

The goals in therapy are dependent upon what you want to achieve! If you want more peace in your life, we will identify what barriers are preventing you from getting there. If you need to heal from past trauma, we will process, make meaning, and find ways to rediscover the present. The outcome of therapy is what makes sense to you and no one else. I create an environment of compassion, empathy, and understanding. My goal is to make you feel heard and receive whatever you need to become the version of yourself you are seeking.
