Great to meet you!

Hello, my name is Magniola (Maggie) Duré. I received my Master of Science in Marriage and Family Counseling Therapy from Capella University in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and graduated in September 2018. Currently, I am certified by the National Board for Certified Counselors-1142451. I am also licensed as a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in North Carolina-15020. Lastly, I am provisionally licensed as a Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist -LCAS-24532

My approach to therapy

I approach counseling as a collaborative process in which the clients and I will be able to establish a trusting and safe therapeutic relationship. Throughout the relationship, we will work as a team to explore and define present life difficulties and develop goals for the future to promote wellness using evidence-based practices. Person-Centered Counseling, Solution-Focused Counseling, Interpersonal Counseling, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy treatment modalities are my expertise.

What you can expect from me

I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, motivation, self-esteem, and confidence, career difficulties, & coping with life changes. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I will tailor our dialogue and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.
