Great to meet you!

I am a licensed mental health professional with over 8 years of experience across behavioral health, crisis response, and child- and family-focused systems. I hold a Master’s-level education in a mental health field and have training in trauma-informed care and evidence-based practices. My background includes inpatient psychiatric settings and community-based crisis intervention. I work with children, adolescents, adults, and couples, and specialize in trauma, depression, anxiety, life transitions, emotional and behavioral concerns, and family dynamics. My approach is collaborative, structured, and grounded in CBT, helping clients build coping skills, improve communication, and create meaningful, lasting change.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, structured, and trauma-informed. I work alongside clients to create a safe, supportive space where they can openly explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences without judgment. I tailor each session to the client’s unique needs, combining a strengths-based perspective with practical, goal-oriented strategies.

I integrate evidence-based approaches such as CBT to help clients understand patterns, build coping skills, and develop healthier ways of thinking and responding. I also focus on improving communication, emotional regulation, and problem-solving, particularly within relationships and family systems. My style is direct yet supportive—I aim to provide both insight and actionable tools so clients can create meaningful, lasting change in their daily lives.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a welcoming, supportive, and non-judgmental environment in the first session. We’ll focus on getting to know you—what’s bringing you to therapy, your current challenges, and what you hope to gain from the process. I’ll ask thoughtful questions to better understand your experiences, background, and goals, while also giving you space to share at your own pace.

Together, we’ll begin identifying initial goals and discuss what a personalized treatment plan may look like. You can also expect clarity around the therapy process, including structure, expectations, and next steps. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, understood, and with a clearer sense of direction moving forward.
