Malinda Whitfield

I am a dual certified Family/Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with 19 years experience as an advanced practice nurse and an over 30 years experience in nursing.

My focus is diagnosing and treating mental health conditions in the form of medication management and supportive therapy. My goal is to work with clients in helping them achieve and maintain their optimal level of health.

Clients will receive a complete and thorough evaluation on initial consultation and a working diagnosis will be established. Diagnoses are revised or refined with continued encounters. I provide recommendations for treatment including psychotropic medication management, taking into account the client's goals and preferences.
