Great to meet you!

Hello, I'm Mallela, a psychotherapist with several years of experience in the field of mental health in various settings; psychiatric hospitals, clinics, non-profit organizations for, children, adolescences and adults.

My approach to therapy

I strive to create a therapeutic bond with my clients, free of fear and judgement, cultivating a safe place that my clients can express themselves and feel heard and understood.

I adapt to the client's specific needs and aim to empower clients to reaching their therapeutic goals through different modalities in therapy.

In the heart of my work with clients is the awareness of how trauma can impact the way we thinking, our behaviors and our relationships with others. Together in therapy we can explore the result of trauma that often result in anxiety, depression, emotional dysregulation and PTSD symptoms. I am mindful to adjusting treatment accordingly to the client's needs and pace.

What you can expect from me

I am passionate about helping people to "do the work," in their life, so that they heal and improve their quality of life.

My clients will be empowered to take control by gaining insight into themselves, increasing coping strategies, and learning to manage life stressors while building resilience.
