Great to meet you!

Taking the first step toward therapy takes courage, and I am so glad you are here. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Texas and Oklahoma with over six years of experience helping people navigate life’s most difficult chapters.

As a Black woman in the mental health field, I am deeply committed to providing a safe, culturally affirming, and judgment-free space for everyone. I believe that healing happens in connection. My goal is to walk alongside you, offering genuine empathy, honest support, and a steady hand as you work toward a more balanced and fulfilling life.

My approach to therapy

I am passionate about supporting individuals across the lifespan—from children and teens (ages 10+) to adults and seniors (80+). Whether you are seeking individual support, couples counseling to strengthen your relationship, or family therapy to bridge communication gaps, there is a place for you here.

I specialize in helping clients manage and overcome:

  • Substance Use & Addiction: Finding a sustainable path to recovery and self-compassion.
  • Bipolar Disorder & Depression: Navigating the highs and lows to build emotional stability.
  • Physical Health Issues: Coping with the emotional toll of chronic illness or sudden health changes.
  • Anger Management & Life Transitions: Developing healthy coping skills and emotional regulation.

I hold degrees from the University of Houston and have trained extensively in a wide variety of therapeutic methods.

What you can expect from me

No two people are exactly alike, so I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to therapy.

Depending on your unique needs, we might use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to reframe negative thoughts, Trauma-Focused or Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT) to process deep wounds, or Solution-Focused Brief Therapy for actionable goal-setting. I also incorporate mindfulness, family systems work, motivational interviewing, and even art therapy into my practice. Together, we will build a customized toolkit that draws on your natural strengths and empowers you to thrive.

You don't have to carry the weight of the world on your shoulders alone. I would be honored to partner with you on your journey toward healing.
