Great to meet you!

I'm a licensed independent therapist with a master's degree in social work and 6 years of experience in mental healthcare. I work primarily with people who've experienced trauma of all kinds, and I also specialize in gender-affirming care and LGBTQ issues.

My approach to therapy

What draws me to therapy is my belief that individual healing and growth is a necessary part of liberation for us all, and I also believe that collective liberation is a necessary part of individual healing. I want to help you feel more empowered to live your life your way, and also to feel more connected to the communities that are important to you. No matter what you are coming to therapy to address, I will be honored to help you navigate your way through hardship and find the path, and the life, that you can be proud of.

What you can expect from me

Our first session will focus on getting to know all about you and your needs, and on setting goals for therapy. After that, I typically work with clients in weekly or biweekly sessions to achieve those goals, update them as needed, and explore both the strengths that will help you rise to the occasion, and the barriers that make the journey difficult.
