Great to meet you!
Mallyssa C. Day, MSW, LCSW “Mallyss”
Hi, I’m Mallyss—a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 25 years of experience walking alongside people as they work through life’s challenges and transitions.
I earned my master’s in Social Work from Western New Mexico University and my bachelor’s in Adult Mental Health Rehabilitation and Addictions Counseling from the University of Maine at Augusta. I’m a lifelong learner, a straight shooter, and someone who genuinely believes that healing begins by meeting people exactly where they are.
In my practice, I work with young adults and mature adults navigating everything from anxiety, depression, and burnout to low self-esteem, relationship struggles, grief, and major life changes. Therapy with me is grounded, direct, and deeply compassionate. I show up as a real person, and I create a space where you can too, without judgment or pressure to be anyone but yourself.
My approach is informed by a career spent in the trenches:
• Working with adults in group homes living with intellectual disabilities and serious mental illness
• Providing support to individuals experiencing homelessness
• Managing crises and co-occurring disorders
• Advocating for clients in systems that often overlook them
I’m here to help you sort through the noise, reconnect with your strengths, and take meaningful steps forward—whatever that looks like for you.
If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or just need someone to talk to who gets it, I’m ready when you are.
