Great to meet you!

Have you ever needed someone to believe in you when you couldn’t believe in yourself? My name is Malori and I want to be that person for you! I know what that feels like, and it’s what inspires my passion and dedication for helping others grow, heal, and become the best version of themselves.

Whether you are seeking to better understand the connection between your mind and body, process the effects of trauma, or manage symptoms related to mood or personality disorders, I provide a compassionate and individualized approach focused on healing, self-awareness, and lasting growth. I believe in a strengths-based approach that empowers clients to recognize their resilience and rise toward meaningful, satisfying lives.

Wherever you are in your journey, I an honored to walk alongside you, encourage you, teach you, and believe in you. You deserve support, healing, and a space where you feel heard and understood.

My approach to therapy

I am EMDR trained and frequently implement CBT in my therapeutic approach. I can help you desensitize and process any past traumas or current triggers. When we experience trauma, it can continue to creep into our lives and make us feel that we are not safe. I want to help you process the past without getting stuck in it. Together, we can work towards rebuilding a sense of trust in self.

Do you need help managing high highs and low lows of a mood disorder? I understand that living with a mood disorder can feel like getting on a rollercoaster that you didn’t ask to be on. I also understand the impact on relationships when living with a mood disorder. Through compassion and warmth, and with a teaching mindset, it is possible for you to find emotional balance.

I specialize in maternal mental health. I support women through the emotional, physical, and relational challenges that can arise during pregnancy, postpartum, and beyond. Together, we will address the identity shifts, anxiety, or trauma associated with pregnancy and postpartum.

I work with clients at their pace; I am willing to meet you where you are. I provide a calm and safe space for you to process thoughts, feelings, and experiences that have an impact on your daily life. I allow you to express emotions any way you know how.

Life is hard; We all need laughter. I assure you that laughter will be part of our journey together.

What you can expect from me

From day one, my space is your safe space! Your space is always a judgement free zone. The first session serves as an opportunity for us to get to know one another. You can expect for me to ask a set of structured questions and you get to answer in any form or fashion you are able; these questions help me understand your "story". I want to better understand your experiences and interpretations. Together, we will begin creating a strong foundation for our work moving forward, including discussing your expectations, hopes for therapy, and goals for the future. My role is to support, encourage, and walk alongside you each step of the way as you work toward meaningful growth and healing.
