Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a background in military service, retiring in 2014. I earned my MSW from the University of Southern California in 2018 and have six years of experience providing clinical support in school and community-based settings. I am EMDR trained (2025) and focus on helping individuals process trauma, reduce anxiety, and strengthen emotional resilience.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative and trauma‐informed, grounded in the belief that clients have the capacity to heal themselves. I use EMDR to support the brain’s natural reprocessing of distressing experiences, allowing clients to move toward meaningful change at their own pace. I am comfortable working with veterans and others impacted by trauma.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, clients can expect a calm, supportive, and collaborative environment focused on building safety and understanding. We will spend time discussing what brings the client to therapy, identifying goals, and determining whether EMDR feels like an appropriate fit. The session is paced carefully, with an emphasis on client comfort, choice, and establishing a foundation for meaningful work moving forward.
