Great to meet you!

I consider it a privilege to work in this profession and an honor to be a safe place for my clients. I enjoy working with individuals, couples and families. I specialize in anxiety, depression, grief/ loss, life transitions, and parenting/co-parenting issues. I have over 20 years of experience with suicide pre/post vention. I also have training in intensive marriage counseling, enabling me to help with and navigate complex and deep rooted problems.

My approach to therapy

Utilizing a positive approach, including self-awareness and mindfulness, I encourage authentic wellness. As a parent of three wonderful children, I can appreciate the complexities of both child and parent journeys. My approach is that it is about my client and the issues they have been so courageous to bring to the session. I long for my clients to feel safe to discuss any matter without fear of judgement or abandonment.

What you can expect from me

I strive to have clients feel empowered and more hopeful after sessions. A primary goal during and after sessions is to provide a team atmosphere and connection in which clients no longer feel alone in their struggles. Another goal is that over time, my clients build and maintain a confidence which can translate to a resource in their life decisions leading to the change they ultimately seek.
