Great to meet you!

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner licensed in Maryland, Pennsylvania, the District of Columbia, West Virginia, Arizona, Nevada, Oregon, and Washington. I earned a master's degree in Social Work from Temple University and a master's degree in Nursing from Drexel University, and I am board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. With over 20 years of experience working with adolescents and adults, I help individuals set meaningful goals and develop practical strategies to achieve them. I believe every person is unique, so I tailor treatment to meet each individual's needs rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach. It is an honor to support my patients on their journey toward better mental health and overall well-being.

My approach to therapy

Seeking help takes courage, and my goal is to provide a safe, supportive space where you feel heard, respected, and understood. I believe that meaningful care starts with building a trusting relationship, and I work collaboratively with each client to develop a treatment plan that reflects their unique needs, goals, and values. Whether you're facing a new challenge or have been struggling for years, I am committed to helping you find practical solutions and lasting relief.

I work with adolescents and adults experiencing depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, ADHD, ADD, mood disorders, stress, and other mental health concerns. My approach combines evidence-based medication management with education, encouragement, and compassionate support to help you better understand your symptoms and regain a sense of balance and confidence. Together, we'll create realistic goals, celebrate progress along the way, and help you build the tools you need to improve your mental health and overall well-being.

What you can expect from me

I strive to create a welcoming, compassionate, and judgment-free space where you feel comfortable sharing your concerns at your own pace. As a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years of experience in mental health, I understand that reaching out for help can be difficult, and my goal is to make the process as comfortable and collaborative as possible.

During our first session, we'll discuss what brings you to treatment, review your symptoms, medical and mental health history, and explore the goals that are most important to you. I'll take time to understand your unique experiences, answer your questions, and work with you to develop a personalized treatment plan based on your needs and preferences.

My approach combines evidence-based medication management with supportive therapy, psychoeducation, and practical coping strategies when appropriate. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, mood disorders, or other mental health concerns, we'll work together to help you gain symptom relief, improve daily functioning, and build long-term emotional wellness.

By the end of our first session, you'll have a better understanding of your symptoms, potential diagnoses (when appropriate), available treatment options, and a clear plan for moving forward. My goal is for every client to leave feeling heard, supported, and hopeful about the path ahead.
