Great to meet you!

Starting therapy can feel vulnerable, and I value creating a space where you do not have to carry things alone. Clients often describe me as calm, compassionate, and grounded. I will meet you where you are, support you at your own pace, and help you build greater understanding, healing, and connection with yourself.

My approach to therapy

I view therapy through a trauma-informed and nervous-system-focused lens. Many of the struggles people experience are connected to how their mind and body have adapted to stress, overwhelm, or painful experiences. Using approaches like EMDR, Deep Brain Reorienting, mindfulness, and IFS-informed work, I help clients gently process experiences, develop greater self-compassion, and feel more emotionally grounded and connected.

What you can expect from me

The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin building a comfortable and supportive therapeutic relationship. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, what has been weighing on you, and what you hope to gain from the process. I’ll ask questions to better understand your experiences, relationships, and overall well-being so I can support you in a way that feels meaningful and tailored to your needs.

I also believe it is important to honor each person’s pace and readiness. There is never pressure to share more than you feel comfortable sharing, and you do not need to talk about anything you are not ready to discuss. My goal is to create a nonjudgmental space where you can feel respected, supported, and empowered to move through the process in a way that feels manageable for you.
