Great to meet you!

I provide a therapy practice that is actively Anti-racist, Queer positive, Trans-affirming, and Sex positive. My priority is creating a space where you can be yourself without explanation or apology. I work with teens and adults, and I specialize in treating trauma, PTSD, depression, anxiety disorders/OCD, bipolar disorder, and psychotic disorders.

My approach is guided by the Greek concept of Filotimo—a deep-seated sense of honor, duty, and care for others. In practice, this means I show up with genuine respect and a commitment to your well-being, focusing on our shared humanity above all else.

My approach to therapy

I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all method. Instead, I use an eclectic approach, drawing from various modalities to fit your unique needs. My style is integrative and includes:

  • Somatic Therapy to address how trauma and stress live in the body.
  • Narrative Therapy to separate your identity from your problems.
  • Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to build practical coping skills.

While these tools are important, I believe the most essential element of therapy is the relationship we build. Trust, authenticity, and compassion are the foundation. I aim to be a real person in the room with you—not just a blank slate.

What you can expect from me

Therapy is a collaborative process. You can expect to gain clarity, skills, and a renewed sense of agency. My goal is to help you:

  • Feel more grounded and resilient in the face of challenges.
  • Develop practical strategies to manage difficult emotions and thoughts.
  • Reconnect with your strengths and inherent worth.
  • Move forward with a greater sense of choice and direction in your life.

Ultimately, I'm here to support your growth with warmth and directness. We'll work together to help you live a life that feels authentic and meaningful to you.
