Great to meet you!
People often describe me as approachable and easy to talk to, even if they don’t know me well. I believe this is a natural trait that comes through in counseling. I’m genuine and a bit playful, honest but always respectful. I truly enjoy connecting with others, and being a counselor feels like my true calling in life.
Having overcome intense poverty and trauma, I’ve faced many challenges along the way. One important lesson I’ve learned is that obstacles and hardships are inevitable for everyone at some point in life, no matter who they are.
We all have inherent qualities and strengths that help protect us and move us forward during life’s storms. However, we sometimes need guidance to recognize and use those parts of ourselves.
I feel my personal journey has given me a deep awareness of those inner strengths. Together with my clients, I work to uncover the authentic self, embracing both strengths and flaws, and finding what truly works instead of repeating what doesn’t. By focusing on attachment theory and incorporating eclectic and wellness-centered approaches, I help clients tap into their natural strengths to reach a place of self-determination and growth.
