Great to meet you!

Hello, my name is Mariah McHose, and I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). I earned my master’s degree in psychiatric mental health nursing from the University of Pennsylvania in 2012 and have been supporting individuals on their mental health journeys for over a decade.

My approach to therapy

I take a holistic and collaborative approach to care, combining medication management and psychotherapy to help clients navigate a wide range of mental health challenges—including depression, anxiety, trauma, neurodevelopmental disorders, substance use, and perinatal mental health concerns. I’m especially passionate about reducing stigma and empowering people to understand that recovery is not only possible—it’s within reach.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, I’ll ask questions to get a full picture of your goals, preferences, and needs. As our work continues, I’ll follow your lead to ensure that our pace and approach feel right for you. I believe that the most effective care comes from a team-based, trusting relationship, and I strive to create a safe, collaborative space where your voice and choices are always respected. If you’re curious about working together or have specific questions, I welcome you to reach out—I’d be honored to support you.
