Great to meet you!

At A New Dawn Wellness, I support adolescents, young adults, and adults who feel overwhelmed, anxious, emotionally exhausted, or stuck in patterns that no longer feel manageable. Many clients appear “fine” externally while internally struggling with anxiety, trauma responses, ADHD, depression, burnout, or ongoing life stress.

Therapy with me is a space to slow down, feel understood, and make sense of what you’ve been carrying. Together, we focus on practical change—helping you feel more grounded, emotionally steady, and better able to navigate daily life with clarity and confidence.

My approach is compassionate, trauma-informed, and collaborative. I believe meaningful progress happens when you feel safe, supported, and met at your pace.

Why choose me: I bring experience across school, community, and clinical settings, along with a practical, real-life approach that helps clients turn insight into sustainable daily change.

Who I Work With:

  • Adolescents and young adults navigating stress, identity, and transitions
  • At-risk youth and young adults navigating behavioral, emotional, academic, or family-related challenges
  • Individuals with anxiety, depression, ADHD, or emotional overwhelm
  • Clients healing from trauma, difficult relationships, or life adversity
  • Single parents and women managing burnout and chronic stress

Credentials:

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master of Social Work and a Bachelor’s in Psychology, with minors in Criminal Justice and Forensic Science. I bring years of experience working with adolescents, families, and adults in school, community, and clinical settings.

My approach to therapy

I use a collaborative, trauma-informed approach tailored to each client’s needs. My work integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based strategies, attachment-focused work, and strengths-based practice to support meaningful and sustainable change. In sessions, I focus on both insight and action, helping clients identify emotional triggers and patterns, strengthen coping skills, improve emotional regulation and communication, and increase self-awareness and self-trust. We explore how thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and past experiences shape current patterns. My goal is to create a supportive and grounded space where you feel understood while gaining practical tools you can use in daily life. Together, we work toward healing, breaking unhelpful cycles, and building a more balanced and empowered life.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll begin by exploring your background, current concerns, and what brought you to therapy. I’ll ask questions about your history, experiences, and goals so we can better understand your needs and begin shaping a plan that feels supportive and personalized to you.

Therapy is collaborative, and there is no pressure to share everything at once. My goal is to create a safe, comfortable space where you feel heard, supported, and able to move at your own pace.

Common areas clients begin to notice change include:

  • Greater self-awareness and understanding of emotional patterns
  • Practical coping skills for anxiety, stress, and emotional overwhelm
  • Improved emotional regulation and stress management
  • Increased confidence, self-esteem, and self-trust
  • Healthier communication and relationship patterns
  • A clearer sense of direction, goals, and personal growth
