Great to meet you!

Welcome! I am a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) based in North Carolina. My journey in healthcare began in fast-paced Emergency Rooms across North Carolina, where I gained critical experience supporting individuals through acute crisis, complex mental health challenges, and high-stress life transitions. Driven by a desire to provide more comprehensive, long-term care, I completed my specialized PMHNP training in early 2026.

I specialize in helping adults navigate anxiety, depression, mood disorders, stress management, and major life changes. Whether you are experiencing acute distress or seeking continuous support for ongoing mental health needs, my goal is to provide evidence-based psychiatric evaluations and personalized medication management tailored to your unique goals.

My approach to therapy

My care style is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in practical support. Having worked extensively in emergency medicine, I understand how overwhelming mental health struggles can feel, and I bring a calm, non-judgmental presence to every session.

I believe that effective psychiatric care is never one-size-fits-all. I take a holistic approach that balances modern medication management with active listening, lifestyle considerations, and supportive guidance. We will work together as a team to create a realistic, personalized treatment plan that fits your daily life and respects your preferences.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a dedicated space for us to get to know each other without pressure or rush. We will cover your background, current challenges, medical history, and what you hope to achieve through care.

You can expect a welcoming, safe, and open environment where your experiences are validated. By the end of our initial consultation, we will map out clear next steps together—whether that involves starting or adjusting medication, establishing routine check-ins, or introducing practical strategies to help you feel supported immediately. My main focus is ensuring you feel heard, empowered, and confident in your path forward.
