My approach to therapy

I'm deeply committed to delivering high-quality, individualized, and evidence-based mental health care in a non-judgmental and inclusive environment. I place a strong emphasis on cultural sensitivity and strive to understand and respect each patient’s unique background, beliefs, and experiences. Above all, it's important to me that my patients feel truly heard, respected, and empowered. I'm passionate about supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds and working to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health.

What you can expect from me

I take a holistic and collaborative approach to care-- emphasizing thorough assessment, accurate diagnosis, and shared decision-making in treatment planning. I foster a safe space where patients are encouraged to take an active role in their mental wellness journey and develop practical coping strategies to enhance their quality of life. Treatment options will be openly discussed: whether this be medication, medication and/or psychotherapy sessions, as well as with a therapist. Clients have the option for virtual or in-person visits in Cary, NC. Weekend appointments can also be made upon request.
