Great to meet you!

You might be the person everyone leans on and still feel like you're barely keeping your head above water underneath it. Maybe a relationship feels strained, a life transition knocked you off balance, or stress from work or school has become the whole story. I'm Marianna, a licensed clinical social worker, and I hope to see you, help you validate your feelings from within, and be there for your steps toward establishing a loving, caring, and strong relationship with yourself. I work with adults and couples navigating personal, relationship, and or family strain, stress, and transitions, lets slow down together and look at what's really going on and where change can happen for you to improve your quality of life!

I graduated from Kalamazoo College with a B.A. in Psychology, minor in Studio Art, while being a collegiate student athlete. I earned my Master’s in Clinical Social Work from the University of Michigan.

My approach to therapy

As your therapist, I will see you as a whole person and not defined by any clinical diagnosis. My approach is focused on each individual’s unique strengths to best navigate working together towards accomplishing goals. Sessions are collaborative, not clinical, and start from your strengths rather than a symptom list. With couples, I draw on the Gottman Method to map the patterns you fall into and rebuild connection. With individuals, we use practical tools to notice the thoughts running the show and build real momentum toward what matters to you.

What you can expect from me

I look forward to holding a safe, judgment free space where you can slow down, be seen as a whole person, and start living the happier, healthier life you desire. We will

move at your pace, building on your own strengths as we work through the stress, relationship strain, or life transition that brought you in. You do not need to have it

figured out before our first session, just a willingness to show up!

Starting therapy does not mean something is wrong with you, it means you are ready for support. The hardest part is usually making the first move. My goal is for you to

leave each session steadier, and over time, more like yourself again. I would love to hear from you so we can start working together!
