Great to meet you!

I believe mental health care works best when people feel truly known, respected, and safe. My approach combines evidence-based psychiatric care and medication management with compassionate, whole-person support. I work with children, teens, and adults, and I strive to create a space where clients feel comfortable being honest without fear of judgment.

For clients who desire it, I also offer Catholic-integrated care that honors the role faith can play in healing, identity, relationships, suffering, purpose, and hope. My goal is never to pressure or preach, but to thoughtfully integrate Catholic values, spirituality, prayer, or faith-based perspectives into treatment in a clinically appropriate and supportive way. I especially enjoy helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, postpartum mental health, motherhood transitions, trauma, relationship stress, life changes, and struggles related to self-worth or burnout.

As a psychiatric nurse practitioner, I provide medication management while also taking time to understand the deeper emotional, relational, lifestyle, and spiritual factors affecting mental health. Clients often tell me they appreciate that I am warm, approachable, thorough, and collaborative rather than rushed or impersonal.

Whether you are looking for practical symptom relief, deeper healing, or a provider who understands and respects your faith, my hope is that you feel supported, heard, and encouraged throughout the process.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is compassionate, collaborative, and personalized. I believe mental health treatment should address the whole person — not just symptoms — including emotional, physical, relational, and, when desired, spiritual well-being. I take time to listen carefully, understand each client’s unique story, and create a treatment plan that feels realistic, supportive, and aligned with their goals and values.

As a psychiatric nurse practitioner, I provide thoughtful medication management grounded in evidence-based practice while also incorporating therapy-informed care techniques into appointments. I value educating clients about their diagnoses, treatment options, and medications so they can feel informed and empowered in their care.

For clients who desire it, I also offer Catholic-integrated care that respectfully incorporates faith into the therapeutic process. This may include discussing how faith intersects with mental health, relationships, identity, purpose, suffering, or healing. My goal is to create a safe, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel comfortable exploring both their mental health and personal values.

I work with children, adolescents, and adults and commonly support clients experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, postpartum and women’s mental health concerns, trauma, stress, burnout, relationship difficulties, and major life transitions. Above all, I want clients to feel genuinely heard, respected, and supported throughout their care journey.

What you can expect from me

During the first session, clients can expect a welcoming, supportive, and judgment-free environment where we take time to fully understand what brings them to care. My goal is not to rush through a checklist, but to help clients feel comfortable, heard, and understood from the very beginning.

We will discuss current symptoms, emotional concerns, stressors, mental health history, medical history, sleep, relationships, lifestyle factors, and goals for treatment. I also take time to understand each client as a whole person — including strengths, personality, support systems, and, if desired, faith or spiritual background. For clients seeking Catholic-integrated care, we can thoughtfully incorporate faith into treatment in a way that feels supportive and authentic.

By the end of the appointment, clients can expect a collaborative discussion about possible diagnoses, treatment recommendations, and whether medication, therapy, lifestyle changes, or a combination of approaches may be helpful. I encourage questions and want clients to feel informed and involved in decisions about their care.

Many clients tell me they appreciate that sessions feel conversational, compassionate, and personalized rather than cold or overly clinical. My hope is that clients leave the first appointment feeling relieved, encouraged, and hopeful about the path forward.
