Great to meet you!

I believe that every person deserves to be heard, respected, and supported without judgment. My goal is to create a safe, compassionate, and collaborative environment where clients feel comfortable exploring life’s challenges and building meaningful change.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I use a strengths-based, person-centered approach that recognizes each client’s unique experiences, resilience, and goals. I understand that seeking therapy can feel vulnerable, and I strive to make the process approachable, empowering, and tailored to your individual needs.

Whether you are navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship concerns, grief, trauma, chronic illness, or work-related stress, I will meet you where you are. Together, we will develop practical tools, increase self-awareness, and work toward lasting emotional well-being at a pace that feels right for you.

My commitment is to provide culturally responsive, evidence-based care while building a therapeutic relationship grounded in trust, empathy, authenticity, and respect. I consider it a privilege to walk alongside my clients as they move toward healing, growth, and a more fulfilling life.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and goal-oriented. I believe that each client is the expert on their own life, and my role is to provide guidance, support, and evidence-based strategies that help you overcome challenges and create meaningful change.

I primarily use a person-centered approach while integrating techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and strengths-based therapy. This allows me to tailor treatment to your unique needs, preferences, and goals rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach.

In our work together, we’ll identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, build on your existing strengths, develop practical coping skills, and work toward solutions that align with your values. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered to make lasting changes.

Whether you’re managing anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, relationship challenges, grief, or stress, I am committed to helping you develop resilience, gain insight, and achieve greater emotional well-being.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a strong therapeutic relationship. My goal is to create a welcoming, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you feel comfortable sharing your concerns at your own pace.

During our first meeting, we’ll discuss what brought you to therapy, your current challenges, relevant personal history, and what you hope to achieve through counseling. I’ll ask questions to better understand your experiences, strengths, support system, and any factors that may be affecting your well-being. You’ll also have the opportunity to ask questions about my approach and what therapy with me looks like.

By the end of the session, we’ll work together to identify your initial goals and develop a plan that reflects your needs and priorities. While the first session focuses primarily on understanding your story, many clients leave with greater clarity, a sense of relief from being heard, and practical strategies they can begin using right away.

My priority is to ensure you feel respected, understood, and supported as we begin your journey toward healing and personal growth.
